FACES OF EXTINCTION
Faces of Extinction is an international community art project & on-line exhibition initiated and launched by Gladys Paulus in 2020. The project aims to draw attention to the impact of human activity on ecosystems and habitats, and the increased rate of species loss that is one of the results.
The masks in this gallery are the work of many individual makers. Click on an image for background information on the species and the motivations of the maker.

Submissions are welcome on an ongoing basis and in any textile medium.
